Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) June Layout Workshops: Coming to a Neighborhood Near You

Port Authority of Allegheny County has announced five Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Layout Workshops in June. They'll be held for the neighborhoods of Oakland (2 dates), Uptown, Greenfield/Squirrel Hill, and Downtown starting today. The stated purpose of these meetings is to give updates on the status of BRT planning, answer questions about the planning process, and collect input on station placement and street design.

Roberto Clemente Museum Open House on Saturday Featuring Family Memorabilia

The Clemente Museum will hold an Open House on Saturday, May 27th from Noon until 4:00 p.m. The museum is dedicated to preserving the legacy of “The Great One.” Roberto Clemente’s sports achievements, his personal life, and his humanitarian efforts are celebrated in the world’s largest exhibited collection of Clemente photographs and artifacts. The Open House will have a special exhibit of Clemente Family memorabilia. As seen in the Post-Gazette, the Clemente Family is set to auction off their collection of memorabilia this July at the All-Star FanFest during Major League Baseball’s All-Star week in Miami.
