Seeking Technical Assistance Providers for Love My Neighbor! Small Grants Program

Neighborhood Allies' Love My Neighbor! program provides small grants to resident-led projects across nine communities(Allentown, Beltzhoover, Hill District, Homewood, Knoxville, Larimer, Lincoln-Lemington, Millvale, and Wilkinsburg). They look to sponsor projects that improve the neighborhood and engage the neighbors. Now, they are seeking RFPs (Request for Proposals) from organizations or freelance consultants to provide technical assistance to people interested in applying for a Love My Neighbor! grant.

Fitzgerald, Peduto Hosting MLK Jr. Day Community Gathering

PITTSBURGH – County Executive Rich Fitzgerald and City of Pittsburgh Mayor William Peduto will host a Community Gathering on Monday, January 16, 2017 as the county and city celebrate the life and legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. The event, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the August Wilson Center for African American Culture, will be a celebration of our community being built upon our differences, and a recommitment from leaders in this region that it will continue to be a community for everyone.

City Receives $10 Million from Rivers Casino
