The Pitt Innovation Showcase is your chance to see the latest University of Pittsburgh-generated innovations in health care, materials, Internet of things, information technology, analytics, energy, and more! These are projects by Pitt faculty, students and staff who are moving their entrepreneurial dreams toward commercialization, including local, early-stage spin-off companies.

The showcase is also the opening reception for Science 2017, the University of Pittsburgh’s annual celebration of science and technology.

The Pitt Innovation Showcase takes place on Wednesday, October 18th and the program includes:

A presentation on the path to success in entrepreneurship by Kurt M. Rote, Co-Founder and CEO of Pitt spinout, Western Oncolytics, an oncolytic virus immunotherapy company that partnered with Pfizer with co-develop its lead therapy.

Join the University of Pittsburgh Innovation Institute for a first look at the latest Pitt-generated innovations.

This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required. As advanced registration is closed for this event, you’ll need to register on site October 18, at the registration desk in Alumni Hall starting at 4 p.m.
