Tomorrow, Saturday, June 3rd, “March for Truth” events will be held nationwide to call for truth and accountability in American Government. In Pittsburgh, this event has taken on an added emphasis: Telling the truth about climate change.

As you may have heard, President Trump said in his speech on Thursday, when he announced that he would withdraw our country from the Paris Climate Change Accords, “I was elected to represent the citizens of Pittsburgh, not Paris.” To which Our Mayor initially replied:

This was followed up with numerous national and international media interviews, a written statement, and an executive order today committing the city to the Paris Climate Accords.

Tomorrow, Mayor Peduto will be a featured speaker at the “March for Truth: Pittsburgh Says Yes to Paris” event. Please come out and show your support for promoting climate control initiatives to help save our planet. This is especially important as the Trump Campaign has announced a “Pittsburgh, not Paris” rally to be held across from the White House at the same time!

Let’s show the world the Pittsburgh of today, and not Trump’s version of the past!
