Time to R.S.V.P for the “Cinco de Mayor” fundraiser for Mayor Bill Peduto! The fiesta will be held at the home of Gisele and Mayor John Fetterman in Braddock on, wait for it, Friday, May 5th. In addition to the Fettermans, it’s being hosted by Eileen and Patrick Jordan, Kevin Sousa, and Duane Rieder. Attend A Candidate Forum This Week

You have three opportunities to see the candidates up close and personal this week. On May 2nd, join Just Harvest & Pittsburgh Food Policy Council to hear where the candidates stand on key public policies affecting hunger and poverty. On May 3rd, the African American Chamber of Commerce of Western Pennsylvania will host a forum concerning small business advancement and economic development for our region. On May 4th, PUMP, Urban League Young Professionals, University of Pittsburgh Graduate School for Public and International Affairs, WESA/WYEP Generation Listen, and the Pittsburgh Spot will hold a forum that concentrates on the issues and policies most important to young people in Pittsburgh.
