Mayor Picks Up Democratic Party Endorsement

The Mayor’s support continues to grow across the City. This Sunday, Democratic Party leaders from all across the city voted to endorse Mayor Peduto for re-election. This victory — 60% of the vote total — included supporters from neighborhoods all across the City.

Support Grows Across the City

This decisive victory followed two other major announcements this week. The Mayor also picked up the support of ALL City Council members, other than his opponent. The eight council members discussed in a letter how much the City has been able to achieve during the Mayor’s first term by working together. This weekend, Mayor Peduto’s campaign was also endorsed by the Service Employees International Untion (SEIU local 32BJ, Healthcare PA, and local 668) who represent tens of thousands of workers statewide.
