Beginning this month, our re-election campaign staff is working in full swing out of our newly opened campaign office at 4314 Penn Avenue.

Our team reflects and deeply believes in a city that is diverse and inclusive — a Pittsburgh that works for everyone. They also love the City and are working together to help keep Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh.

Guiding our re-election is campaign manager, Keyva Clark, taking her first position in this role in a campaign. Clark recently served as a Regional Field Director for For Our Future – a progressive organization that supported progressive candidates in Allegheny County. Her campaign experience also includes stints with City Council and State Assembly races in the DC area. Clark was formerly a Pittsburgh Coro Fellow, where she focused on regional, equitable development. Through her Coro experience, she was deeply immersed in each of Pittsburgh’s neighborhoods.

Chazz Aden is serving as the campaign’s Field Director. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, he has returned to Pittsburgh after serving as Field Director for a congressional campaign in Southwest Michigan as well as working for NextGen Climate during the Iowa Caucuses. The field team is rounded out by organizers Fatema Juma, Symone Saul, and Cameron Cochran, who bring experience from the Housing Opportunity Campaign as well as Gubernatorial, State Representative, and Presidential campaigns in Southwest Pennsylvania.

Julie Hallinan is continuing work as the Mayor’s Finance Director, a position which she has held over the past two years. She has worked for numerous elected candidates and officials, including County Executive Rich Fitzgerald, Katie McGinty, and Councilman Dan Gilman. Deputy Finance Director Tara Jerry served as an intern on the Mayor’s 2013 race and has worked for a number of local and statewide candidates.

Mayor Peduto’s consulting team includes Matt Merriman-Preston, Ampersand Consulting, providing General Consulting and Direct Mail; Mark Putnam, Putnam Partners, providing media and advertising; and Marco Cardamone, Merging Media, providing digital media. The research team includes Daniel Gotoff and Celinda Lake from Lake Research Partners and Will Caskey from Third Coast Research.
