PITTSBURGH, PA (October 13, 2016) – Mayor Peduto is pleased to announce that the deadline for the special online raffle of an authentic Sidney Crosby autographed jersey has been extended.
As of 3:00 p.m. today, 2,500 tickets have not yet been sold. Tickets can be purchased for $20 at bidpal.net/peduto.
The winning ticket will be announced once 2,500 chances have been sold.
During the 2016 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs Mayor William Peduto made a friendly wager with San José Mayor Sam Liccardo ahead of the NHL Stanley Cup Final series between the Pittsburgh Penguins and San Jose Sharks. The bet: The losing Mayor would make a donation to the winning Mayor’s charity of choice and take a photo (to be posted on social media) wearing the captain jersey of the Stanley Cup Championship team the day following the final game of the series. Following the series, the jersey was to be raffled off with proceeds going to the winning Mayor’s charity of choice.
Mayor Peduto is thrilled to kick off the 2016-17 season by partnering with the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation to raffle off this one of a kind Sidney Crosby autographed jersey. Proceeds from the raffle will be split between the Hill House Association and the Veterans Leadership Program of Western Pennsylvania.
Raffle tickets are $20.00 each and only 2,500 tickets will be sold. Fans can register for the raffle at bidpal.net/peduto starting at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 13.
