Uptown Partners of Pittsburgh will hold their quarterly community meeting on Wednesday, June 1st at 6:00 p.m. The meeting is for Uptown residents, businesses, institutions, and those with a general interest in the neighborhood. Please note that due to the Penguins Stanley Cup Game tomorrow, the meeting has been moved to 300 Gist Street at the former Forbes Auto Body Shop (instead of being held at 710 Fifth Avenue as previously announced). The meeting will end in time for the start of the game at 8:00 p.m.!

There’s lots happening in the Uptown neighborhood! Issues to be discussed include:

  • Uptown/Oakland EcoInnovation District Plan: Hear updates, have questions answered, and give feedback to EcoInnovation District consultants.
  • CARL (Community Acquisition and Rehab Loans): A presentation on the CARL home rehab program — a highly affordable tool!
  • MLK Gardens: Find out information from Uptown resident Queeba Bey on how to obtain a garden bed at the former MLK ball field.
  • NeighborWorks Presentation on Homeowner Programs: Important information on homeowner programs and available financial support.
