Did you know that Homewood was voted “Favorite Neighborhood on the Course” by runners in the 2015 Pittsburgh Marathon? It was number one because of the great community support on race day including their water station. For this year, Homewood will build up to the DICK’S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon by holding a series of community focused events. These three events are a creative collaboration by six organizations in Pittsburgh including: Operation Better Block, GTECH Strategies, Repair the World, Whistle, Homegrown (a program of Phipps Conservatory) and Pittsburgh Three Rivers Marathon. You’re cordially invited to participate in any or all of them to help Homewood bring home the gold again!
