“Go toe-to-toe with real T. rex fossils! Get inspired by a Monet masterpiece! Interact with live animals or screen print a T-shirt! “

Pittsburgh is blessed with a wealth of world-class museums. This summer, your child can take full advantage of the renowned permanent exhibitions like the Scaife Galleries and “Dinosaurs in Their Time” at the Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural History. The Carnegie Museums are offering a wide array of week-long half- and full-day camps for kids from preschool through high school from June 13 to August 26.

There are natural history camps, architecture camps, and art camps, along with play dates and workshops. Subjects range from “Weird Science” and “Mad Scientist,” to “Fun with Clay” and “Experimental Drawing & Painting,” to “Stinkosaurus” and “Dino Digs,” to “Design a Playground” and “Let’s be Frank: Architecture & Design,” and much, much more!

If you know kids who would love the opportunity to work side-by-side with scientists and artists this summer, you can find out more information about the camps that are available at camps. But, you’ll want to register as soon as possible as these camps tend to fill up quickly!
