Each year, Pittsburgh needs lifeguards for our pools! The Citiparks Aquatics Division is actively recruiting now for lifeguards for the 2016 summer season. If you are a certified lifeguard or are interested in obtaining certification, the Citiparks Aquatic Division needs you. Lifeguards must be City of Pittsburgh residents and at least 16 years of age by June 4, 2016. The starting pay rate is $8.91 an hour. If you need to obtain certification for this job, lifeguard training courses are being offered at the Oliver Bath House (38 South 10th Street on the South Side) in the months of March & April and again in May & June. The course fee is $70 and payment plans are available.

LIFEGUARD TRAINING COURSES:

MARCH 19 – APRIL 30, 2016
Saturday’s
12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
*No class on March 26

MAY 10 – JUNE 2, 2016
Tuesday’s & Thursday’s
6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
And Saturday, May 21
9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
