The Eastside Neighborhood Employment Center (ENEC), located in Garfield, serves the East End community by providing its residents with the help they need to compete in today’s job market. As part of their mission, they host an annual summer job fair that garners citywide attendance. They are now recruiting employers to participate in that event which will be held on June 4th from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Eastminster Presbyterian Church. Last year, more than 1,700 job seekers and 80 employers attended this event!

They currently have over 45 employers signed up, as many employers from last year appreciated the access to quality job candidates. Participants are provided with floor space and a table to showcase their organization to job seekers and the event will be marketed across the region. If you are an employer who needs people and can help make the East End Works Annual Job Fair bigger and better than ever, please return their “Interest Form” by faxing it to 412-441-6918 to reserve your free table now.

The ENEC also helped to organize the recent teen job fair and wants to remind any qualified youth interested in garnering a position through the City’s Learn and Earn Summer Youth Employment initiative that the deadline to apply is 6:00 PM, Thursday, April 30, 2015.
