On Thanksgiving Day, as most Americans sit down to a bounty of wonderful food and count all their blessings, there will be far too many for whom such a meal is beyond reach. “Get Stuffed With Love” is a program that has provided a hot and delicious meal free to people who are really in need for a dozen years in the City of Pittsburgh including the homeless, shut-ins, and the disabled.

The meals are delivered by Pittsburgh Police Officers and volunteers on Thanksgiving morning. Last year, over 1,500 of these much needed meals were delivered to those who applied to the program. If you are in need–or know someone or a family who could use the help–please contact the Community Relations Officer in your Zone (listed below).

If you want to volunteer to deliver these meals on Thanksgiving Day with police officers in your zone, you can also call your zone officer.

Meal requests need to be made by Monday, November 17, 2014. You can view/download the flyer for the “Get Stuffed With Love” program here.
